CondoGuru.ca ("CondoGuru", "we", "us") is a Canadian website that publishes information about new construction homes and pre-construction condominium developments in Canada. We are not a real estate brokerage and we do not trade in real estate. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry or contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the project you are asking about, any optional details you choose to provide, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites we record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the site you arrived from. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18, and we do not collect payment card details.

When you submit an inquiry about a specific development, your inquiry is shared with the licensed sales representative, brokerage or builder team responsible for that project so that they can respond to you. That party is an independent organization and their own privacy practices apply to the information they receive.

We also use third-party service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery and analytics. They may process personal information only on our instructions and only for the purposes described in this policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.

By providing your contact details and submitting a form, you consent to being contacted by CondoGuru.ca and by the representative associated with the project you asked about, including by email, telephone or text message, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Consent is not a condition of purchasing any property.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us using the details below. Withdrawing consent does not affect communications we are required to send for legal or transactional reasons.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to remember your preferences and to measure aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

We keep inquiry records for as long as necessary to serve the purpose for which they were collected, to maintain our business records, and to comply with legal requirements. When information is no longer needed we delete it or render it anonymous.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access and misuse. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
